Are You Money Smart?

April 22-29 is Money Smart Week @ your library. The need for increased ability to successfully manage person finances is huge, and libraries of all types can help their users increase their knowledge base.

National Library Week

This week we celebrate National Library Week and National Library Workers Day (Tuesday). First sponsored in 1958, National Library Week is a national observance sponsored by the American Library Association (ALA) and libraries across the country each April. Truly the heart of the community, libraries transform and continue to change in what we do, but not in the excellent ongoing service we strive to provide. Come in and celebrate libraries this week with us!!!

April 5th is National Walking Day

A FUN walking story will be set up at Pioneer Park 10 am-6 pm on Wednesday the 5th for all to enjoy. Get out and walk and have fun reading the exciting book: Muncha! Muncha! Muncha! by Candace Fleming. Bonus hours 4 pm-6 pm with prizes to be awarded via QR reader postings! First Wednesday Kid's Corner will be making Bunny Blocks, too.
