Board Structure & Responsibilities
Municipal libraries and their governing boards are established and operate under the Idaho Code, Chapter 26, Sections 33-2602 - 33-2608. The Emmett City Code, found here, specifically outlines the ordinances governing the Emmett Public Library. All members of the Board are appointed by the Mayor and approved by the Council.
Library Board Meeting Schedule
The Libray Board meets on the third Thursday of each month at 5:00 p.m. in the Gemstone Room at the Emmett Public Library.
