Summer Reading Opportunities

Summer reading opportunities abound for Gem County kids this summer. Kids who do not continue to read over the summer can lose as much as 3 month of reading achievement. New this year is a partnership like no other, Emmett Public Library, Gem County Rec. District and Emmett School District are teaming up to turn the "Summer Slide" into the "Summer Leap!"

A STEAM based theme flows throughout all the program's 8 week adventures. A special $7.00 library card for non-resident participants is available, prizes galore and chance to win new bikes.
