Refresh & Restore in 2024

A Word from our

Library Director, Alyce Kelley

As we say good-bye to 2023 and begin a new year, “Let’s Refresh & Restore in 2024”! The Emmett Public Library takes pride in the strength of its collection (64,500+items), its accessibility and it’s community & consortia partners.  We work together to serve our community of Gem County. We cherish and appreciate our library volunteers, our 8,800 patrons, everyone who has supported our many fundraisers, that have put new resources on our shelves, helped make possible the many free educational library programs throughout the year and helped us expand into the future. With that in mind, we are eager to serve you in more ways. We would like to challenge your library usage! “Refresh and Restore @ your Emmett Public Library in 2024”! See you ALL at the library!

A 'Refresh & Restore in 2024' Library Poem

by EPL Circulation Director, Cammi Burton

Try something new!

You won’t be blue.

Just behold

Ask a librarian to show you how to place a hold.

Take a look at the kiosk or ongoing booksale.

You may find a great story or tale.

Check out a puzzle or game

You’ll be glad you came.

Never checked out a book?  Give it a try

Maybe a DVD would be new to you - don’t be shy!

E-books and audiobooks are available too!

It’s an option you can do!

See all the library has to offer you,

You’ll be sure to find something new.
