Storytime ~ Tuesday 11:00 - 11:30

Storytime helps foster a lifelong love of books and reading in children. Storytime is not only fun for children, but also informative and engaging for the parents and caregivers who attend with them. Your pre-readers will improve literacy skills that they need for their upcoming kindergarten year. This Storytime features 2-3 books which are accompanied by a variety of activities, including simple crafts, puzzles, LEGO Duplos, and flannel boards. Geared toward ages is 2-6, but all are welcome!
Story Play ~ Thursday 11:00-11:30

Story Play is a 30-minute non-competitive physical activity class for children who have started walking, through age 5. The class focuses on simple, fun games that develop targeted movement and listening skills. Story Play goes hand-in-hand with Story Time in helping prepare the children of Emmett for kindergarten.
LEGO Club ~ ON HOLD DUE TO HEALTH CONCERNS AT THIS TIME!
Thursday 3-4pm (Summer Hours)
Thursday 3:45-4:45pm (During the school year)

Children ages 5-12 will have the opportunity to imagine and construct original creations based on a weekly theme at each session. LEGO Club was a logical fit for our Children’s Programs, because promoting play contributes to literacy development by increasing attention span, memory, creativity, and language skills. Additionally, LEGOS boost motor development, enhance critical thinking, develop problem-solving, and planning by construction. Most importantly, LEGOS are FUN!
